Let me first apologize to the few of you who actually read this (so I'm apologizing to myself, big deal) for having taken so long between posts, i.e. a month. I've been busy (as for what I've been doing, you'll have to use your imaginations). Taking the lead from a poodle I know I'd like to put forth some quotes that have struck me recently, some of my own creation (though I won't admit it) and others by better thinkers than I:

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers.
For he today that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition.
And gentlemen in England now abed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin’s day.
-Shakespeare, King Henry V

I am but fortune's fool, a prisoner of my own folly.
-Samuel R. Dockett

Words ought to be a little wild, for they are the assaults of thoughts on the unthinking.
-John Maynard Keynes

What a fool Honesty is! and Trust, his sworn brother, a very simple gentleman!
-Shakespeare, The Winter's Tale

Never trust of man, for he is rather vile of nature. As for women, don't even get me started.
-Samuel R. Dockett

Don't be so humble - you are not that great
-Golda Meir

Never interrupt your enemy when is making a mistake
-Napolean Bonaparte
